Mustard Seed Singles Ministry (35+)
The Singles Ministry at First Christian Church is committed to helping single adults “find and follow Christ” in their own lives, while also reaching out to others in service and fellowship. We believe we should:
- Start new lives in Christ.
- Shape our lives biblically in the image of Christ.
- Shelter each other during life’s journey.
- Share the Good News of Christ with others.

Which answer to prayer is greater?
That the Lord has removed something and given me external peace, or that He's left me in a trial and given an internal peace that nothing can steal-not even my circumstances?

Just a few things...
Our Children's Pastor Collie has asked if anyone from the Mustard Seed Ministry would be interested in helping with Awana's on Weds. nights. Prayerfully consider joining this ministry, and be both a blessing and be blessed. Call the church and ask for Collie.
Spring is upon us!
That means bike rides; beach outings; movie nights; hikes and bbq's. Stay tuned for upcoming events.

Are you working for you're Eternity?
God makes it clear: Anything we accomplish is possible only because He makes it so. We can't earn our way to heaven and eternal rewards. What we receive in the life to come are His "crowns"--gifts of appreciation, given in accordance with our obedience and faithfulness. And in return, we will have the joy of presenting them to Him in praise and honor (Rev. 4:10)
The good news is we don't have to labor in vain. We can work for eternity--even now. Use the talents God has given you for Him (Luke 19:17).

If you're prayer is "Lord, I'm available---do whatever You want with my life, and show me what to do," you can be sure that He'll reveal the next step. God is willing and ready to move in the life of anyone who chooses to be available for Him.
