SUMMER CAMP IS COMING

Check out this CIY Video for more information

MOVE is a 5-day high school only event held all over the country, designed to amplify the call of Christ on students lives to become Kingdom workers. Students at Move not only learn and worship together but also spend quality time with their church youth group, discovering ways that God will use them to be a greater help to the world

The high schoolers will be venturing down to BIOLA University. The theme this year is, “Where Heaven and Earth Collide”. “On a hillside thousands of years ago, a Rabbi spoke words that are still as radical today as they were the day they were delivered. Be perfect. Love your enemies. The meek will rule the world. These red letter words demand everything. And each was lived out to perfection by the Rabbi himself. But what if these words weren't just clever maxims but the calling cards of kingdom workers? MOVE 2012 will bring the Sermon on the Mount to life and examine these words that changed everything. It's where the Rabbi becomes a king. It's where his followers become new people.”

The dates of the camp are July 9th-13th Total cost of the trip is 350. Deposits of 100 are due by May 27th and the full amount is due June 17th.

Fundraisers for Summer Camp

Bible Booklet Fundraiser: Students can now pick up their Bible Booklets. The first week that they are able to recite verses is the week of May 27th. Verses can recited at anytime during the week to myself (Kevin), Caleb, or any of the High School/Jr.High Leaders. All books will need to be completed and turned in by June 17th in order to get the 100 bucks off camp.

Fireworks Booth: This is a fun way to earn some money for camp. We are taking sign ups for spots but you need to have the 100 dollar deposit turned in in order to be considered for shifts at the fireworks booth. You can sign-up today by contacting Kevin or Pam Rowan.
