Serve Santa Maria

Saturday, Sept. 18 | 8:30a – 12pm 
This is an outreach ministry that First Christian Church has supported for several years. Our Church will be the focal group for this project to serve an individual that is less fortunate in a local community. Church Members, families, and friends of all ages (6+) are welcome and encouraged to attend this activity. We will be cleaning up around the house of an elderly man or woman that is unable to help themself due to age or a handicap. Our group will be trimming trees and bushes, possibly hauling a few unwanted items away, pulling weeds, and doing minor repairs. Depending on the turn-out we may expand the project to include others in need. You are encouraged to bring any yard or maintenance tools that you have. Or you can just show up and help on one of the many projects. Water and light snacks will be provided. Sign-ups & more info will be available on the plaza Sept. 5 & 12.
