TRAUMA INFORMED PARENTING: A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE
Sat, May 28 |10a – 2pm | Fellowship Hall
Michelle Moses (Pathway Family Services) will be leading a trauma-informed parenting seminar. You’ll view a portion of a video seminar called “Hope for the Journey”, presented by Show Hope, and Michelle will share practical tools that help parents teach self-regulation, connection, and self-worth. The concepts presented are from an empirically proven system called Trust Based Relational Intervention, (TBRI). You will learn a Biblical understanding that God created us to connect, and we can help children who have experienced trauma re-establish those connections. No child comes with a parenting manual. We teach that God works through the concepts of TBRI to show that there is a deeper understanding and better way to parent and build relationships in general. Please RSVP Below to join this incredible one day seminar!
