Goodwill VSB and the Walmart Foundation is offering free services to Veterans with a DD214 in need of Employment. GoodJobs 3.0 provides tools and resources to connect veterans to meaningful civilian work so they can give their families the financial stability they deserve.

Outreach Coordinator Needed at Central Coast Rescue Mission

The Outreach Coordinator works with the Director to plan Survival Outreach Services (SOS) in the Central Coast area in order to build relationships with homeless neighbors and guests, low-income families and others who need CCRM services. Significant opportunities exist for relational and spiritual ministry with homeless persons experiencing difficult times as well as volunteers and donors.  The Outreach Coordinator works closely with the Director and Operations Coordinator to adhere to and promote RMA & CCRM Policies & Procedures.  This position reports to the Director of CCRM.  It is a regular full-time, non-exempt position located in Santa Maria, CA.  Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is eligible for overtime and benefits according to applicable guidelines.

Hospice Volunteers Needed

Volunteers provide emotional support as well as a physical presence to patients. We also have an area honoring our veterans, working with Welcome Home Military Heroes who offer military salutes to patients who are veterans. Volunteer Opportunities include: office work assistance, running errands, handyman services, fundraising and helping with special events, doing yard work and support for the caregiver.
